In the story when Ulysses ask for a second chance to Aeolus. Aeolus refuse and Ulysses once again. But instead Ulysses blames his sailors Ulysses get on board then they departed from the land of Aeolus and sailed home this time without the aid of a Demigod.
If I were in the shoes of Ulysses I would rather do also what he do like taking a map, and instead of complaining he take his crew was showing bravely, Courage and determination in leading his men back home.
